Today's glitch is actually from the app Play Wild!
In the treehouse den, walking over the first crack in the floorboards will cause your animal to drop through the floor! Continuing walking will bring you back up.
Hey everyone! Today, my brother and I went over some common glitches and even found a new one! This is a huge glitch dump and hopefully more videos like this will come in the future.
Here are the glitches we talked about:
Fox + Jingle Bell Bracelet
Arctic Wolf + Ice Armor
Door Phase
Running in place
Animal Underlap (The glitch where the crow goes under the leaves)
Anywho, we hope you found this enjoyable! Please tell us what you think!
I'd like to introduce a new author to the blog; mwolfbat! She's a long time friend of mine, and she probably won't post much. When she does post, though, do leave her a compliment or two!
For some reason, when Pandas 'play' with spirit armor, the energy snaps backwards suddenly. This shouldn't happen and I assume it's either from lazy modeling or the animation is trying to reset itself.
Either way, mildly interesting. What do you guys think of this?
Now, I know this is a blog about glitches, but I should be able to talk about my thoughts on the game, right...?
Right?
Well, in any case, today we got the 'Pixelated Couch' and 'Pixelated Chair', and earlier this month we got a 'Pixelated Wolf Head.' The first item was obviously quickly modeled. It's simple and dosen't have much polish, and was released shortly after a Minecraft model of SkormAJ was released:

This could very well be a coincidence, but honestly. There doesn't need to be an item in the game made for a "famous" youtuber
One thing I've been happy with recently is how the HQ seems to be more community-conscious and seems to be paying more attention to what players want.
Adding more items to trades? Done
Search bar? Done
Minecraft? Apparently people want that too.
I'm not a huge fan of the new items, but it's not a bad item set. I'm looking forward to see what happens next.
I decided to quickly categorize two common glitches today- the 'Carpet Overlap' and what I call 'Doorbell Stick'. They run rampant across the game and are simply annoying.
The first glitch occurs when you have a significant amount of lag while going from one person's den to your own. The flooring and wallpaper will overlay on your den.
The second occurs when the first person to enter your den leaves. The 'doorbell' icon will stay.
The servers glitched out today and kept taking english speaking players to spanish servers. Not really much of a bug, it was just hilarious.
This isn't the first time this has happened, of course, but it's still funny either way. People trying to go to WootMoo's den were dropped in this canyons.
Those of you who've been playing the game as long as I have remember the phenomenon that was Skyway Glitches. They were everywhere- by using the 'games' menu of someone's player card, you could phase through walls and use 'pathways' into the sky to access locked-off areas. (For those of you new to the game, this was before the creation of Eagles and Owls, nobody had been in the sky before)
Anyway, these exploded, and they were patched eventually. AJHQ was oblivious to them before a bunch of us sent in emails with screenshots and such.
Since new maps were released, the HQ was more careful, and Skyways have been generally nonexistent. There is, however, one more that works.
The above video I recorded to demonstrate the final Skyway Glitch. If you switch animals while going over the pit, you can stay there longer.
This used to be a proper Skyway Glitch when you could actually walk around, but it no longer has that effect.
Thanks for checking out the Alpha! Have a jamtastic day.
Hey there! I'm Icey, and I'm the author of the Jamaa ALPHA.
What is this place? Well, it's a reincarnation of my old blog, 'Animal Jam Flash', except it's centered around the bugs, glitches, and technical aspects of Animal Jam.
As such, this is supposed to be a low-stress area where the Animal Jam geeks of the world can discuss the world of Animal Jam from an objective perspective. Here, it's all about the game. Literally!
I hope you enjoy my little ramblings about Animal Jam and technology.
